LAST KINGS OF SOHO

Storyspring's short cinema documentary 'Last Kings of Soho', directed by David Pearson (Emmy & BAFTA Nominated and Oscar short Listed), enjoyed a screening and enthusiastic response in London's West End recently. The film was shown along with two other excellent short films, 'Shadows in the Sunshine', directed by Ruhi Hamid (Oscar and Emmy Nominated), and 'Neil and the Langholmites', directed by Duncan Cowles (BAFTA and RTS winner). There was a livley Q&A about all the films. Photo, on left, left shows David Pearson & Ruhi Hamid speaking at thge screening.

In David's film rent increases force Gino's, the iconic Sicilian barber shop in London's Soho to face closure. The news devastates Little Tony, Big Tony, and their clients from the entertainment industries, but they continue to joke, until another surprise compounds their problems.

Completed at Films at 59, with a 5.1 sound mix, and graded at Electric Theatre Collective, in London. Edited by Jack Abbot, DOP Jeremy Humphries, and Sound Recordist Keith Rodgerson. Full Credits at www.lastkingsofsoho.com
